If that 3.5 is unweighted and you score higher than 1400/1600 on the SAT or a comparably high ACT score I would be surprised if you didn’t get into SCU (probably with merit $). Spend a lot of time studying for the ACT/SAT; both of them are trainable tests and carry a lot of weight in your application. As you already know you should have a good relationship with your teachers so they will write u a stellar LOR in the future. Good luck!

@AngryCookie Thanks  How do my chances look for the other schools?

if 3.5 is your uc gpa then I would say about 40% chance for UC Irvine, higher act/sat will increase those chances, if 3.5 is your unweighted, then I would say you have a pretty good chance, but you never really know. Your stats are 50/50 ish

With a good SAT score (1500+ CR+M, 2200+ CR+M+W). I think you’ll get into all those schools. With 100 points less, Santa Clara is still a likely admit, the other two are 50/50.

Thanks so much guys, I appreciate it

The GPA is a little low but you have great ECs, so I think that you have a decent shot at all of these schools. Good luck!

Thanks! @ptkid16

Stop bumping until you post test scores. People cannot really chance you without those.

dude stop bumping your post. please take the sat and tell us ur scores. id say u have a 50 percent chance. ur EC’s wont mean anything if you have a low GPA and SAT score.
