Im going to be a freshman in the fall, and i took the SAT in 8th grade. I prepared for about a month and got a 1760. Do you think its possible to boost it up above a 2200 by junior year?

Nope, I’m sorry you better start looking at community colleges. I heard they were hiring at McDonalds…

get off of college confidential. you shouldn’t be here if you’re that young, all you’ll do is make yourself feel bad.
lots of things change between freshman and junior year. so get off the computer and go figure out what they are

definitely, I took the PSAT freshmen yr and received a 166, and this june I received a 2150 on my SAT without too much studying (I am a rising senior). I would say use the blue book, take all the practice tests, and then go through barrons. Also, take difficult math and english/history courses in high school and read SAT caliber editorials in the newspaper.

thanks for the advice

I agree with others, don’t worry, a lot changes in three years, just enjoy your freshman year (it is probably the only year you won’t have to worry about major tests). That being said, yes it is possible…
