<p>What do you think my chances are of getting some sort of scholarship from Pitt and how much do you think i could get? I have already been accepted into the Honors College, but I am waiting to hear back on scholarship information. My stats are:</p>

SAT- 700m 660cr 690w
6 AP classes
so far 5 on AP bio and a 4 on environmental science AP tests
lots of EC's, but i heard that pitt really only looks at the numbers. </p>

<p>Have you visited Pitt? I visited it and did not like it there at all. I’m not trying to discourage you; I’m just asking out of curiosity. </p>
<p>Anyway, if you got into the Honors College, then you definitely are a strong candidate for any scholarships as you are one of the top applicants. However, I have no idea what scholarships they give so I can’t give you a real amount.</p>
<p>I did visit and i loved it there! But i got a full-ride to alabama and i would rather go to pitt if i could get some scholarship money</p>
<p>I won a full ride to Pitt, with everything paid for including room, board, books, and study abroad.</p>
<p>You have better SATS overall than me (2030 on mine) and I’ve only completed 2 APs and I’m completing 2 more this year. I have gotten 5s on all of my AP tests so far - AP Calculus AB and AP Psychology, and I am currently taking AP Biology and AP Statistics. </p>
<p>In terms of getting into Honors College, Pitt is all about the numbers, but the scholarship that I received (Helen Faison Scholarship) was also about writing a good essay and participating in extracurriculars. It would probably help you a lot if you were a minority student (I am bi-racial, Middle Eastern and African), but with your credentials I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if you get your notice pretty soon. I found out my scholarship about 3 weeks after my Pitt acceptance.</p>
<p>Thanks r33mgiggles. Unfortunately I’m not a minority and I’m pretty sure that the Helen Faison scholarship is for minorities. But Thanks for your imput I am more hopeful now! Hopefully I will get my letter soon and I’ll share what I got</p>
