<p>Are you SURE you won’t qualify for needbased aid? Have you run the calculators? Sometimes kids think they won’t, and then are surprised at the results. Best of luck to you, and apply and see. :)</p>
<p>well isn’t too late to fill out the CSS anyway? and I don’t think my parents care about the first year cause there’s a 50k fund and if I want to I can apply sophomore year for aid, probably receiving only a little though like 10k</p>

<p>It depends on where you want to go. Also, it depends on how good the state flagship is. If the choice is Cal for free or 200k for Rice, then I would pick the former.</p>
<p>If it is McNeese State vs. Rice, then the answer is definitely Rice</p>
