Thanks

anyone there???

Sorry. I made a mistake. But I am surprised you have already selected your senior year courses.

^ This kid is a junior, which is why nobody wants to respond to a self-admitted ego post.

I appreciate the effort needed to learn a foreign language. To become fluent in one, in my experience, requires a substantial commitment of time. So it would be dishonest if I did not say that I am skeptical of the extent of your involvement in so many extracurricular pursuits. Hours in a day are limited, as you know. Certainly I would never say you are lying, because I have no proof. But I think you would find those who do not know you personally more believing if you showed the expanse that is extracurricular depth and that is not extracurricular breadth.

thank you so much noimagnation :/…and i dont mean for this to be an ego post, im just curious is all

and the reason i have learned those languages is that I was enrolled in a private jewish elementary and middle school where hebrew was taught concurrently with english, and my mom is russian and dad is ecuadorean, so I am taught at both school and Home

I apologize to everyone who believes this is soely an ego post, I did not mean for it to be one, and I did not realize it is offensive :(

^ I’m not criticizing; I have more than a few ego posts scattered around CC myself :). My point is simply that asking for a chance from anonymous posters - most of whom probably will not respond given that they are focused on current seniors - is not a good way to resolve your issue and may lead to potentially dangerous misinformation. There are a few cases where chances can be useful; this is not one of them. I think you know that.

My recommendation would be to post on the subforums for each of your schools of interest. DO NOT repost this chance request. Instead, ask any questions you have that might help determine whether these schools are good fits for you academically, financially, professionally, and socially. You have planned ample time to make your decision, so do it right.

Good luck.

you’re hispanic and smart…you have a chance at all of those schools. It’s up to you which one you pick

It’s well within the realm of possibility that you are admitted to any one of those schools. They’re all really similar in selectivity, so I would say you have a similar chance at all of them. Since the odds are about the same at all of the schools, I would just choose your favorite one.
