Chances for Senior Early Decision

Hello, I’m currently a Senior and I was wondering what my chances are of being accepted into Boston University through Early Decision. I have a 24 ACT score along with a 3.76 GPA with 6 AP classes and the rest mostly Honors. I got a 660 on SAT II US History and a 700 on SAT II Literature. I plan on majoring in Journalism and Political Science.

Extra Curricular Activities:

School Newspaper Editor
Panelist for local newspaper
Summer internship at a local newspaper
Writer for the National Football Authority
Enrolled in Boston University’s Summer Challenge Program
Key Club Officer
Thousands of hours volunteering with Special Needs Softball Leagues
Member of Future Business Leaders of America
4 years of township/ Connie Mack baseball leagues

Thanks!

I’m sorry I don’t know, but it looks like you have the same creds as me! I hope we both get into COM for journalism ;)

Yeah, hope to see you there!

you should probably get your ACT up. BU’s range is 27-31 I believe.

I’ve already taken the ACT’s twice and I don’t think my score will increase that much at this point if I take it again. I’m hoping that by applying Early Decision my scores will be overshadowed a bit by my desire to attend BU.

Yes ED should help.
