Is Korean spoken in your home?

My parents speak korean but i speak english back to them... i only took korean as a backup.. i have 3 other sat ii scores anyway (besides korean)

Yeah, I don't even know if most colleges will even really consider that score, I know that a few won't because, well, you're of Korean descent and anyone reading your app would assume Korean was spoken in your home.

I can't say what your outcome will be, you look like a pretty solid candidate and I'm sure you'll have at least a few lovely acceptances, particularly from the schools with a dearth of Asian applicants. Work on your essays.

which schools have a dearth of asian applicants..? and bump..

Possibly Middlebury, Colby, Bowdoin...?

bump... any more thoughts?

Bowdoin - in
Cornell - decent chance
Middlebury - in
U Chicago - good chance
Colby- in
Harvard - no chance

Amherst - slight chance
University of Oxford (England) (philosophy and theology) - decent chance

bump.. bump... bump....

Might want to look at Holy Cross-very good LAC 1 hour from Boston. Holy Cross seeks diversity and has good size endowment.

bump.. bump bump

i remember seeing somewhere on the harvard, princeton, and yale website that taking an sat of your native/racial background (whether its your first language or not) is not recommended because it shows you don't challenge yourself to take other subject tests. not that it matters because you have bio, history, and math but just fyi.

yep thanks for the heads up--sorta knew that anyway.. i have no reason to take it i guess. but i already signed up so might as well ..
