Chances for several UC's, promise to return favor :)

I am an Asian female.

Unweighted GPA - 3.92
Weighted - 4.26 (both including freshman year)
Well, all A's except for one semester of APUSH and both semesters of AP Calc in Junior year, where I earned B's... B+'s actually ;)

Ranked top ten in high school, and my high school is public, non-competitive.

SAT Reasoning scores, 560M, 590R, 550W. Obviously, the test will be retaken. I also plan to take the ACT in the fall.
SAT II scores - Bio 690, US History 660

AP Scores - Euro, Bio, US History 5; Calc AB 4

Extracurriculars:
Tennis - three years
I volunteer frequently with school clubs and individually on occasion. I have racked up well over 300 hours.
Involved in school's Volunteer Service club(2yr), Ecology club(2yr), Spanish(1yr) and Quiz Bowl(since Freshman year).
Also, CSF and NHS(2yr...but those are pretty much a given)

Officer positions:
historian of the Volunteer Service club in Junior year and VP upcoming Senior year.
Quizbowl historian Sophomore year, President Junior year and upcoming Senior year.

I am extremely passionate about Quiz Bowl. I have even placed as one of the top individuals in several tournaments. :D

Supposing that I score considerably high on the SAT retakes and ACT, what are my chances of getting into these schools?

Schools I'm considering:
UCLA
UCB
UCSD
UCSC
UCI
USC also.
and HYPS as well, just for fun.

Thank you for taking the time to read this chance thread, I really do appreciate it. Post and I will return the favor! :D

Anything else you need from me, feel free to ask!

Thanks for the reply, here is my critique.
You meet the stated averages for GPA for most of the UCs, really (like me) It comes down to SAT scores, if you can increase your scores to get about 2000 (preferably 2100) I’d say you have as good of chance as any imo.

GPA is fine so as already mentioned, work on that SAT

UCLA In
UCB Low reach (will depend on final SAT score)
UCSD In
UCSC In
UCI In
USC In

HYPS high match, ECs dont look stellar to me, nothing makes u stand out

HYPS oops sorry High reach of course…

A little optimistic? SAT score and those ECs will make UCLA and UCB very high reaches as of now. Raise that SAT to atleast 2050.

UCSD – 1800-900 and you’ll be in.

HYPS? no chance

Wow, just wow. If there were ever a thread to prove chances threads are a waste of time, this one is it.

With those test scores, UCB, UCLA, USC and SD are all reaches. Bring it up for sure.

I would think that with that pretentious attitude you carry all over the boards that you would spend a little more time reading the thread. No?

No hold barred truth is so offensive to some…

On these chances threads, I’m typically so horrified by the lack of knowledge of how this works in the first few posts that I stop reading.

UCLA – High reach
UCB - High reach
UCSD - Reach
UCSC - Good shot.
UCI - Match
USC - unsure
