Awards:
Wellesley Book Award (11)

Notes:
Recs will be well written. I have a strong alum connection with Wellesley, my debate team coach and AP Econ teacher. She awarded me the Wellesley Book Award, and she plans to help me schedule an interview with someone she knows will write well on my behalf, along with essay help and a strong recommendation.
I am REALLY into politics. I volunteer for Ready for Hillary, and I know for a fact that my recommendation letters are going to mention the fact that I'm the most passionate student they've ever met. This also explains why 3 of my AP classes for senior year are in the Social Sciences. I'm taking AP Physics for fun.

I have 6 credits at the local community college. I am involved in the dual enrollment program, 4.0 GPA. 3.0 Credits of Psychology, 3.0 credits of Western Civ II.

My top choices:
Wellesley, Bryn Mawr, Bates, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Scripps, Dickinson, Colgate, GWU, and Franklin & Marshall College. (Maybe some UC colleges too?) Any suggestions and chances would be greatly appreciated.

I’m also a first gen college student with a family income from around 80,000-99,000. My mom has an associates from the Community College, and my dad is a former marine, so I’m really going to be the first one in my family to actually go away to college. If that helps, at all.

Your course of rigor is very good and your ECs are very good. Your unweighted GPA is a little low which may hurt a little and your test scores are on the lower side as we’ll.
GWU- match or high match
Good chances at all UCs except Berkely and UCLA

Chance Back?
<a href=“Chance me. Promise to chance back - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1660083-chance-me-promise-to-chance-back-p1.html</a></p>

Hi,

I don’t know most of your schools but I can say that Wellesley is probably a reach for you, but it is doable. Most of the UC’s are doable as well - some are reaches for you (davis, san diego) and some are super reaches (berkeley, UCLA) but you still have a chance. I have very similar stats to you and I am applying to all UCs aside from riverside, merced and santa cruz.

Good luck!
