Interned with the statistical research department of a local hospital. Also had a paid internship at Fermilab.

THANKS!!!!

Volunteering is a bit weak, and why were almost all of your extracurrics started your sophomore year? Your stats are rock-solid though. From your thread, it doesn’t seem like you have an extremely committed interest to any of your extracurrics; be sure to emphasize their importance, or it will look like a laundry list on your app. Doing what I just advised will get you into a fair number of your reach schools (which, really, is everything on this list). Best of luck!

You’ll definitely get merit aid from schools like UPitt, though; there’s no need at all to worry about that.

Your list is good. I cannot give specific estimates but I won’t be surprised if you get into one of these top schools.

Oh, don’t forget, the notorious** AFFIRMATIVE ACTION!**

Thanks!

I know that my EC’s aren’t great, but I am pretty committed to them, moreso than I show in this thread because I didn’t really go through and explain each of them.

Yeah, that’s what I assumed. Again, best of luck! It’s a hard admissions cycle. (: If you wouldn’t mind chancing me back, I left my link in my previous post.

@Keasbey Nights: What do you mean “It’s a hard admissions cycle.” ?
@Dawncoming: Isn’t affirmative action pretty much out of the picture for the OP since he is Asian?

I mean that it’s hard on everybody because there are a lot of ridiculous applicants. It’s a given that there will be rejections for an applicant to the top schools.
