Ok, so I'm currently a freshman at community college and I want to leave this place as soon as possible so I applied for spring transfer to IU-B. Do I have a legit shot?? Please let me know!
STATS:
HS GPA: 3.0 took several APs, AP scholar.
ACT: 31 (35 math,30 E, 30 R, 28 S)
SAT: 2120 first sitting ( 800 M, 680 CR, 640 W)
SAT II: 800 on Math2, 720 Chem
english is my second language
EC's are nothing spectacular, especially when compared to others on CC.
college sem1 GPA will be near 4.0 but will they even care???
Thanks so much for your help!!

bump!!! Please help me out!! I’ll def chance back!!

I’m not sure how long ago you submitted your app, but this site says IU is no longer accepting transfer applicants for Spring 2010. (not sure how long it’s said that though)

[Apply Now: Transfer Students: How to Apply: Office of Admissions: Indiana University Bloomington](http://admit.indiana.edu/apply/transfer/apply.shtml)

Not many transfers post here. It’s not that people don’t want to help you. They just don’t have the answers for you. I suspect you’ll be looked at as a freshman since I’m guessing you don’t have college transcripts with grades yet. Your HS GPA is low. The test scores are fine. Just a guess, but I don’t think there will be space for you. Perhaps plan to transfer next fall and try to stick it out at your CC.

Your stats look pretty good! I’d say you have a pretty good chance

Your chances are good. From my recent experience, I think transfering in is a lot easier than being straight out of High School as they get a more complete-person view.
