Chances for Spring Freshman Transfer?!?!

Ok, so I'm currently a freshman at community college and I want to leave this place as soon as possible so I applied for spring transfer to the IT at UMN- twin cities. I realize that this is a very long shot, but if there's any opinions or advice pertaining to my situation then please let me know.

EC's are nothing spectacular, especially when compared to others on CC.
college sem1 GPA will be near 4.0 but will they even care???
Thanks so much for your help!!

oh and I'm out of state.

1) Your high school GPA is low for IT.
2) Your ACT is average for IT.
3) Yes they will look at your CC GPA, be sure to get that as high as possible.

Transferring in to IT, CSOM, or CBS is a challenge. Percentage wise I would give you a 40% chance.

Thanks a lot jota!! Yeah IT is one of the more challenging schools to get into and my GPA really pulls me down. Anyone else??

bumpppp Anyone else???
