Also, can a criminal record be considered in the app process? I've gotten a Minor in possession before and was put on community service and had to attend a class for it.

BTW, all of my classes have been the hardest possible for me to take, my school does not offer AP's. I've taken highest math class possible since 8th grade, and am in college algebra and calculus. My classes have been only focused on Computers and Business. My schools computer classes are terrible, most of my knowledge has been self-taught, including a vast knowledge of C++ and Objective-C programming

im assuming your GPA is weighted (or else 4.5/4 UW = what the heck?)

your ecs help you with stanford, but not so much for MIT

id have to say high reach for MIT (although i was tempted to say unlikely, but let's see how your awards fair with them)

Stanford: Reach/if you do really well senior year, mid-low reach

kill them with your essay and rec

Yes, my Junior year I had a weighted GPA but my freshman and sophomore years were not.

But wow, thats crazy having MIT and Stanford as a high reach, I assumed my grades were pretty average for them after doing some research. Guess I was wrong :(

I think you have to mention your criminal record; they ask for it.

Grades are just a starting point; they need to be there first before anything else is considered.
