<p>Hey, just hoping for some help :)
Anyways, I am a senior at an elite bay area (California) private high school, and wondering what my chances of getting into Stanford (dream school) or carnegie mellon (another dream school) are. My school doesn't have rankings, and I am a legacy at Stanford (mother).</p>
<p>GPA: I didn't do so well freshman year, 3.3 ish uw gpa.
sophomore: 3.9 uw
Junior 3.95 uw. </p>
<p>SAT's
2230 (dont remember individual scores, all above 700 though)
ACT's 34</p>
<p>SAT 2's
MATH 2: 760
CHEM: 750</p>
<p>Only AP's i have taken (not including this year) are CS and AB. 5 on both. Mostly honors courses besides these
Current courses are AP Japanese (semi fluent, not native language), Honors calc c/multivariable, AP english, AP psych, data structures.</p>
<p>EC's
Jv soccer team for grade 9 and 11 (missed 10th due to injury), varsity senior year
Model UN - 2 years, club captain for 1 (senior).
Programming club - 2 years
Tutoring club - 2 years
12th grade class president (not ASB)
Numerous volunteering at AYSO soccer (ref, coach, disabled program volunteer)</p>
<p>Work experience
Web master for a local startup that sells and ships care packages for college students. Big project, still working on it.
2 summers in testing/developing software at a local startup (internship).
Internship in germany for a chemical company</p>
