Bump

Hi. I’m an international from India. Your grades are good (note that those colleges regularly get applicants with similar grades) but your SAT score is only borderline. Most competitive applicants have between 2200 and 2300. Also, I don’t see subject test scores, so care to elaborate on that?
What level (state, national, international) level have been playing tennis and badminton?
Finally, are you asking for financial aid? International applicants who are asking for aid are at a huge disadvantage.

Pros:
Highest average in your class
Honors
6 languages
Good EC’s
Cons:
Kind of low SAT score for top universities
It would be good to find a few more EC’s (but nothing you don’t really want to do)

Stanford-reach
Columbia-High reach
Rice-high match/low reach
Vanderbilt-low reach

Chance me back?

I do not plan on applying for any financial aid. The tennis tournaments that I participate in are at a Swiss national level and I have a Swiss ranking (although it is not that high…). I plan on taking the sat again in may so I hope to improve my score then! I could also mention some other ECs on my cv I guess, like some community service, helping to create a public information campaign for diabetics, ect… Do you think that would help? Also, I will visit all the campuses I’m interested in this summer so maybe that can be used to demonstrate strong interest!

Oh yeah, I also did that one week internship in a coffee trading company last year, I should definitely mention that. So, with this in mind, can anyone chance me please?
