Chances for Stanford, JHU, UCBerkeley, and UPenn?

<p>To which of these four universities should I apply in the early action? How about regular decision? Could you recommend me any university which is the most suitable for me and favored by students who major in bio? </p>

<p>I think Stanford would fit you most considering your cultural background, however, it would be the hardest to get in with a less than 7% acceptance rate. They do SCEA though. What other schools will you apply to?</p>

<p>Stanford for sure has the best Bio department out of the ones you listed, and I think you have a very good chance at getting in. Apply there first (EA). Next go to Berkeley, you can get in and it’d be a great school. If it matters to you, Berkeley also has a higher portion of Japanese students.</p>

<p>Yeah. Stanford is my favorite. I will apply to it in SCEA. I will also apply to UChicago, Dartmouth, UCLA, and UCSD. I think JHU and Berkeley are the most realistic choices for me. If there’s no difference between quality of biology department of these universities, I will go to UCBerkeley because of its racial diversity and environment.</p>
