PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
My two passions in life are travelling and soccer. I've played soccer for 12 years and I've played in 3 different countries including Japan( on a local soccer team), in Egypt, and in the US. I love travelling whenever I get the chance and I go to Egypt every summer. I'm fluent in Arabic and English.

My freshman year I did not do so well and my GPA was a 3.85. My sophomore year I had a GPA of 4.21(straight A's). My Junior year I had a 4.5(straight A's). I feel like my SAT score is not where it should be but I got a 760 in Math, 650 in CR, and 670 in Writing. I also took the SAT II and i got a 670 in Literature and 740 in US History.

Thank you for your help. Any advice on what I should improve on would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

That looks beautiful. Just make sure that you do a very good college essay, and hopefully you get in. :)

Higher test scores would make you a much more competitive applicant.

Good luck.

Hello all !!
I am an Egyptian student ( 16 years old ) and I am neither an american citizen nor a permanent resident ( will be applying as an International student ) to Stanford
Academics :

  • SAT : 800 Maths
    780 Writing
    740 Critical Reading
-7 IGCSE subjects hemistry , Physics , First Language Arabic, English as a second language and ICT ) and scored A* across them all

I have completed A-Levels Biology and Math and AS chemistry with grades A*AA

In my senior year, I will be taking an eighth IGCSE subject ( business ) and A2 chem

In a few weeks I will be taking the TOEFL exam

I have quite strong extracurricular activities and worked for a few organizations and charity. These include both international and national science and social organizations as well as community service projects. I even participated in protests and the sit-in in Tahrir square during the 25th of jan revolution in Egypt. ( Wish Egyptian people success in their fight for democracy and freedom  )

However , I will be applying for financial aid and I know stanford has a need-aware policy but i am determined to get in

Do you think I can make it and what do I need to improve ?

Additionally , I am going to apply to other schools , but since I am also going to need financial aid . the schools must at least allow such aid for international students if not a need-blind policy . However , such schools are top schools and very selective . Do you think I can make the cut for such schools ??

wish me luck !!!
