Is your weighted GPA on a 5.0 scale? If so then it’s really low as with your SAT scores. Your extracurriculars are quite good but I’m not too sold if they’re going to make up for your dismal scores.

Yes they are :/

By the way, thanks for replying!

It’s impossible.

I agree grades going to hurt you. Your ECs sound great. Did you decide not to apply to any UCs?

Sorry, but don’t your hopes high… The average SAT is in the 2150+ range and anything under a 3.8 GPA gives you a SEVERE disadvantage.

[Stanford University in Stanford, California - Cappex](<a href=“College Search Database: Find Your College Match | Cappex”>College Search Database: Find Your College Match | Cappex)

You already submitted your application. I understand you want clarification, but as cliche as it sounds, hope for the best, but be very prepared for the worst. That’s the only thing that you can do.

No, I only applied to just those two schools in California, no UCs. I also might apply to UNC: Wilmington, though.

I was just wondering what people thought. I’m so anxious awaiting the decision. I guess I was just wondering if someone knows of someone who has gotten in with those grades, but probably not. Please post if you do!

And thanks guys for your input :)

If it makes you feel any better, I applied with stats that are not CC approved lol. I hope we both get in  Because my stats are not the most competitive, I’m prepared for anything. Stanford is my top choice, and I couldn’t let low stats disable me from making the Jan 1st deadline. I do wish you the best of luck.

Yeah, I hope we both get in too…somehow! And that’s exactly the way I think about it - if you don’t even bother applying because you think you won’t get in, you won’t get in. But applying at least gives you a chance, no matter how small it is.

Don’t get your hopes up :/
