Stern-Reach
Stern BPE- Reject, probably back into the regular admissions pool.

Your SAT is too low, and you are international. ( asking for aid??) Your IB scores aren’t the best either, although you still have a chance. Being Canadian is pseudo-international.

to be honest, if you are Chinese, the ad com really won’t be impressed with an 800 on the Chinese SAT II.

Would a 2200 SAT be enough for BPE? and I’m not asking for aid, would BPE still be reject?

ED is your best chance but it will be hard to get into Stern with your SAT’s. Like others have mentioned the writing part is not really considered. So it would be nice to see your indivdual math and verbal scores.

on the contrary, i think you might have a shot at nyu stern in regulars
i would highly recommend not to apply ED if you are looking for any sort of financial aid
of course, since you are an international student, you are likely to not receive any aid anyways.

However, i do think that you have a pretty good shot at umich ross. I know that preadmit ross is difficult to be accepted into, but i hear that students accepted into the michigan lsa honors program do have a great shot at getting into ross sophomore year. Just be sure to apply early, and you have a good shot.

Back to your stats:
i think that your sat’s arent horrible, but that you can work in improving them.
Be sure to take as many satII’s and get over a 700 on them if possible
i wouldn’t recommend taking chinese though since you are chinese, and if you don’t get a 800 on it, it might reflect badly on you.
However, your extracurriculars are very strong- especially that internship at john hancock. Just keep on working on that, and perhaps get a rec letter from them in addition to the ones you’re sending in.

hmm, International + Chinese + low SAT = Reject.
