What’s your ethnicity? Do you have any hooks (URM, low income, first generation, legacy, etc.)? What’s your class rank? Are you a junior or a senior? What are your leadership activities and what did you specifically do during each of your summers in high school?

We can’t chance you accurately unless you provide all of this information.

What IB’s are you taking? If you’re taking a full IB schedule (meaning you’re on track for an IB diploma), I think Stern is a low reach for you.

Your ACT score is the only part of your app that’s bringing you down. Your score will look better, however, if you did well on the ACT math section (around 34+). Business schools, like Stern, place a heavy emphasis on mathematical ability, so a strong ACT Math score can make up for lower scores on the English and Reading sections.

The sad part is, I was expecting like a 34-35 on my math, but I messed up. However, I submitted my SAT score too where my math was at a 770. Now, that’s not great, cause SAT math is easy, but compared to my CR and writing, it was pretty impressive.

Ahh that might be a problem sorry to say :/. NYU Stern is known to be much harsher with non americans. I mean it wouldn;t be a big deal if you were a American Passport holder living there, but if your a full fledged Indian citizen, that act score might be a problem. Did you take the SAT 1? It hurts because your indian as well (hardest for asian non americans), so that could break your chances. Honestly you have a slight chance, but all of the odds are against you. I assume your middle class as well. What are the other colleges you applied to?
