Chances for Stern?

<p>I had already put this in the Chances forum, but I figured since Stern is my dream school right now, I'd post this here as well.</p>

<p>I haven't decided whether to do early decision yet, and mostly because of financial aid. I don't want to be tied down to NYU if the financial aid package ends up being less than I expect. So right now, I'm going to apply regular decision.</p>

<p>About me: Asian-American female from a relatively competitive Texas public school
Interested in going into Finance, Accounting, and maybe dabble in International Business</p>

<p>GPA: 4.5 W, 3.95 UW (based on frosh-junior years)
Rank: 36/672
SAT I: 2200 in one sitting (680 CR, 800 M, 720 W) – Should I try to improve my CR/W scores?
AP Scores: US History (4), Eng. Lang (4), Physics B (4)
SAT II: Chinese (790), will be taking Math II soon (hopefully 750+)
Academic Honors: National Merit Semifinalist (Finalist hopeful ><), AP Scholar, Honor Roll, National Honor Society
Senior year schedule: AP English, AP Stats, AP Calculus BC, AP Environmental Science, AP Macro, AP Gov’t, AP Micro, Health (required to graduate)
Frosh-junior years: handful of APs, mostly GT/honors and pre-AP, 3 regular classes – only 2 B’s, rest all A’s</p>

Business Professionals of America club member (since 9th) and officer (since 11th)

Assistant counselor at a regional summer youth camp I attended since young (summer before 11th)</p>

<p>Essays: Average to good -- Writing has never been my strong point, but I think I may do decent for the supplements, with my love for the campus/program.
