<p>I know I have a really low GPA and SAT 2'c but I was wondering if I still had a shot. Is biochem a really hard major to get into? I was going to go bioengineering but I figured it would be way to competitive so I ended up with biochem. hope that wasn't a poor choice :(</p>

<p>i don't biochem is hard to get into, though it is popular. i got into computer science (and this is relevant because engineering majors are typically thought of as "harder to get into" than other majors) with a slightly lower gpa than yours.</p>

<p>if i were you (assuming that bioengineering is what you're interested in and want to do), i'd put bioengineering as my first choice and biochem as my alternative. i think you have a great shot at getting in for bioengineering (which means you have a better shot for biochem). hope that helped.</p>

<p>Match, your GPA is the only lower-than-average thing. Your SAT II's aren't low at all.</p>

<p>Also, I think you hit "4" instead of "7" when entering your reasoning score, haha.</p>
