So I’m in the second semester of my senior year and I just recently had a bit of a crisis. I decided to switch my major just a few weeks ago after I had already applied to and been accepted to all of my schools. Now that I’ve decided to change my major my top choice is SUNY New Paltz.
I’m from New York and I have a 1690 SAT (1120 critical reading & math) with a 86.55 gpa(my school doesn’t use the 4.0 scale). I have volunteer hours at my church fundraiser under my belt as well as being an active member of my schools’ newspaper club.
New Paltz has rolling admission till May but I still know they take preference on those who apply early. Because of my late change, I only sent my application March 3rd and according to the website they’ve received everything on March 10th. I’m wondering if there is still a chance for me to get in despite the fact that I’ve applied so late.
it’s a match but your odds are 50-50 due to the late submission.
