My GPA and SAT's are not good but my grades are, I am simply terrible at math and at times science too. What are my chances for acceptance into TCNJ?

TCNJ only looks at you Math and Critical Reading scores. When I applied Early Decision in October 2007, my GPA was about a 3.9, but my SAT was 1200/1600 (680 Math and 520 Critical Reading). I have heard it has gotten a little bit harder to get in since then, but the online statistics still show that the acceptance rate is around 40% which isn’t too bad. Try to make sure you have A’s in your current AP classes so that these grades show up on your transcript, and make sure you right your essay about an important occurrence in your life. I wrote my essay about becoming an Eagle Scout, and I think that is a huge part of why I got in. Also, TCNJ loves to see people that are involved in a lot of activities, so this really helps your chances. Hope this helps.

Your ECs seem really good, what did you score out of 1600?
