Didn’t really care to get caught up in the numbers game. If a school accepts me I want it to be for character and individuality. I don’t have to jump through hoops to prove my self-worth. Calc 2 is basically BC and Calc 3 is multivariable. Tech doesn’t take a BC score anyhow. They only take the AB score.

MountZero: Interesting philosophy, but high GPA and relatively low test scores can be interpreted as grade inflation. For many colleges, the numbers represent the first level of review. If you don’t make that cut, they’re not going to see your “character and individuality”.

What AVHS said is exactly wat i was hinting at. I understand that u may be one of those people who think that their character is more important than test scores, but colleges and generally even employers expect to see u work hard and show dedication. Don’t tell me that ur a smart kid and “didnt want to jump through hoops” so u bombed the SAT. Dont take this badly, just saying. In a crowd of a thousand, no, TEN thousand, its hard to shine with ur personality and character alone. Numbers are the first step, that interview is the personality part.

And why would a college look at AB but not BC?..BC is AB + some more, and its faster. At least at our school…

Even though the test scores are in the lower 25th percentile. Your GPA gives you a decent freshman index. So with a good essay you should be good.
