Chances for Tech?

My numerical GPA is 98.6. My school only puts this average on our transcripts, not a GPA, so I do not know what my weighted/unweighted GPA is. I have taken only Honors and AP courses at my high school, including AP World History, US History, Calculus BC, and Chemistry. I received a 5 on the World History exam, and I am currently enrolled in the others. Next year, I am taking AP Physics B, AP Biology, and AP Macroeconomics, along with Joint Enrollment Calculus 2/3 with Georgia Tech, Band, and Literature. My test scores are not that great, but I plan on retaking each test:
ACT: 29 Composite (35 English, 30 Math, 26 Reading, 26 Science)
SAT: 1200 or 1830 (630 Math, 630 Writing, 570 CR)
My class rank is 19 out of 616 (Top 3%).
I am involved with many clubs at my school, including:
National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Beta Club, Habitat for Humanity, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Marching Band, Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble, and Tutoring.
I am the membership chairperson of NSHS and Band Librarian. I am also very involved with my church and have participated in several mission trips and service projects throughout high school.
What are my chances for being admitted to Georgia Tech? Thanks!

you’re in.

You’re lucky Tech takes the better of the SAT/ACT scores. Your SAT wouldn’t be enough, but your ACT is right on target. I’m sure your GPA will be converted well given your class rank, so you’re probably a match. It would be helpful to determine your GT GPA, though.

Thank you for the insight. I know that when you apply to Georgia Tech you input the grades as they appear on your transcript. My school adds seven points to honors and AP classes, so when calculating the GPA would that be considered unweighted since that is how it appears on the transcript? Is a weighted GPA just the .5 points that Tech adds to each AP class? Thanks.

well ur gpa with +7 points is definately weighted, and if they added .5 to that it would be double weighted? i have no clue wat u should put but i would definately make sure to be positive what u do before u do it!

they will take out the weight your school provides and add there own weight.
