I WILL BE APPLYING IN OCT. AFTER I GET THOSE SAT SCORES
-PLEASE CHANCE AND THANK YOU

bbbbbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppppppppp

I’m guessing you meant “SAT” where you put “GPA”. So, engineering is very competitive at A&M from what I’ve heard so you should try to up that SAT score. Possibly also try ACT? Aim 2100+. What’s your gpa?

Yeah I meant to put GPA:3.5

Any other opinions

It looks like you qualify for TAMU Automatic Admission.

See [Academic Admits](http://admissions.tamu.edu/freshmen/gettingin/waysAdmitted/academic.aspx)

You should apply early to get into engineering. Applications open August 1, 2013.

do u think october will be soon enough???

Start your application online in August. If you have SAT scores to submit in October, you will be allowed to update your application then.

Didn’t you already have a qualifying SAT score? You also have a chance to sit the ACT in September.

Here’s my situation I also want to apply to more competitive schools so I need a better sat score. CAN I SEND IN MY APPLICATION BEFORE MY SAT SCORES??

If you already have at least 600 CR & at least 600 M and CR + M = 1300 then you already qualify for academic auto admit. You can have your TAMU admission in hand while you wait for improved scores to apply to other schools.

The issue with waiting till October is that you might find that engineering is full. Someone posted on this site that you can expect TAMU to fill engineering spots on a first come first served basis.

A useful skill in any potential engineer is the mastery of google. Treat yourself to the world of discovery that wonderful tool can grant you.

Look up the TAMU deadlines and stop asking strangers for opinions. You’ll find being an actual engineer will go much more smoothly if you can do your own research. Sheesh
