Chances for the Service Academies

<p>Hey could you guys chance me for the Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy assuming I can secure a nomination?
Ethnicity: White
WGPA: 4.28
ACT: superscore is a 31 but I am taking another
Class Rank: 12 out of about 300
APs I have taken (I just finished my junior year): AP World History: 4, AP Biology 4, AP Calculus BC N/A AP US history N/A AP Chemistry N/A AP Spanish N/A AP Psychology N/A
APs I will take: AP Literature AP Government possibly AP Physics
Dual Enrollment Classes for next year: Independent Science Research, Multivariable Calculus, Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations
ECs: Varsity Wrestling three years probably Captain next year, Varsity Football 3 years possible Captain spot next year, JV lacrosse one year, Junior Engineering Technical Society Co-Captain, Global Ambassadors, Governor's School for Agriculture at Virginia Tech (1 month during the summer)
Volunteering: Assistant Coach for local house lacrosse team, help build mountain biking trails with MORE organization, transporting food for Head Start, Handling registration for the Red Cross and donating blood, I am working towards my EMT-B (emergency medical technician) certification and have accrued about a 100 hours volunteering for the local rescue organization
Work: Typical teenager jobs like Averaging about 20 hours a week working in retail, Bus Boy for a catering Co., Mowing neighbor's lawns
For the physical evaluation I lift, run, and swim,a lot so I should be able to score well on that</p>

<p>Being a sports captain will help. You may want to make sure you lobby your teammates or coaches to earn that spot.</p>

<p>Scores and grades are in range. Don’t think in terms of superscore.</p>

<p>Build a relationship with your Congressional delegation. </p>

<p>Try to find a mentor (maybe retired officer) that can work with you on the interview portion.</p>
