Hey there, just wanted to make a new thread since I didn't get any chances in the official chance thread.

CCC Transfer

Major: Biochemistry
Applying to: UCLA, UCB, UCSD, UCD, UCI, UCSC and NYU

Overall GPA: 3.883 (Got two B+ in Eng 2 and Philosophy)
Major GPA: 4.0
Transfer Status: IGETC completed, all prereqs completed

ECs:
-Treasurer of SETA club
-Member of Honor Society
-Member of MESA club
-Shadowed a physician for a while.
-Did some community service at the local hospital, about 150+ hours
-Got an internship at said hospital the following year.
-Took a chem and physics class at UC Berkeley, got a little involved with some clubs and a little research, nothing big.

There's some other stuff, but I already forgot. I'm really worried about the overall GPA though. I didn't think two B+ grades would bring it down that much; if it's of any help to my application, I got them my first semester.

I also got a W my first semester since I didn't want to get a B in Calc 1. Also, these are the grades from only 3 semesters. Not sure if the colleges take the grades of the spring semester prior to transfer into account, when I'll have two prereqs to complete.
