Hi, I'm a junior in high school and want to go to a 0-6 pharmacy school or 2+4.

Can I get into these schools?: Pitt (cond. acceptance), University Rhode Island, Northeastern, Rutgers, University at Buffalo (cond. acceptance), Purdue, Ohio State, UConn, Duquesne.

SATS: 490 (CR) 550 (M) 560 (W)
I will be retaking in March. Hope to get CR up to atleast mid 500's. Math will go up to 600. and Writing will go up a little.
Will be taking ACTs and Chemistry subject test in Spring/Summer.

Extra-Curr:

Don’t know much about the other schools, but Rutgers’ pharmacy program is selective. Get that SAT up to 2000 and take SAT II’s and AP courses/exams in science subjects

Thanks for the responses guys. How can you have too many ECs? Lol.
I take AP Chemistry and have a strong A. Will be taking AP Bio and AP Physics next year.

Your SATS are a little low but don’t worry, keep studying and you’ll surely bump those grades up.
And your GPA’s are wonderful, keep em’ coming
And I agree with cakley with your EC’s. Yes its good too look at but it’s not about Quantity it’s about Quality. If I were a Dean or whatever and I saw this, I would say that your dragging it . Colleges don’t want to see a long list of activities, they’re probably not gunna even wanna read it all. Colleges would like to see long term clubs, clubs that you’ve been attending for a long time.
Do you have any of those ?

Your GPA is kinda close to mine and I also take some of the same AP classes as you and Im also a Junior. Lets imagine that you and me are applying to the same college having the same AP classes and same AP test scores. To beat competition you gotta find something that separates you from the rest of the pool to dazzle out the colleges .

That’s the thing. Colleges would look at my ECs if it came down to it, so thats why those are all my ECs. Also, all of these ECs I’ve been committed to. I’ve been in all of them for 3 years in HS so its not like I’m hopping around to different classes.

Pitt (cond. acceptance)- low reach
University Rhode Island- match
Northeastern- low reach
Rutgers-low reach
University at Buffalo (cond. acceptance)
Purdue- high match
Ohio State- high match
UConn- high match
