Hello, I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out my chance of getting in to Tisch for Dramatic Writing. I attended their summer program last summer, have a 3.8 (but got 4 C's my freshman/sophmore year, but I assume that since I got into the summer program with that it makes no differance for the school I guess), got all A's besides one B in AP English junior year, and am 1880 on my SAT 2400 scale, and a 1240 on the 1600 scale, and am president of three clubs. I'm worried about my SAT. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

I can tell you that their standards for the summer program and the standards for the actual university are quite different. A 3.8 is still good though–is that weighted or unweighted? Also I personally would take the SAT one more time. It can only help!

But I honestly can’t give you a real chance, because for tisch half of the application is the art supplement. If you have some good scripts to give them, your stats seem fine, but could be better. It really all depends on your writing samples. If they’re stellar, I think you have a good shot.

Thank you! I’m taking it one final time and the GPA is unweighted and I am also taking the ACT!
