Chances for top schools and LACs

Posting this under a slightly better title. :P
Please chance me (sorry for the long post)! Thank you!

I've applied to/am applying to:
Cornell, Emory, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Rice, William and Mary, Penn, URichmond, UVA, UMD honors, Vanderbilt, WUSTL
LACs: Swarthmore, Barnard, Pomona, Harvey Mudd, Lafayette, Franklin and Marshall

SAT I: 2180; 730 CR, 770 W, 680 M (retaking on 1/25, I know I can get better M and CR scores, trying for ~2250+)
SAT II: 780 USH, 740 Chem
Grades: All A’s with a few A+’s and about 4 A-'s
Course rigor: Toughest in the school. 9 APs total, all non-AP classes are honors (AP Euro soph, AP Lang + APUSH + AP Calc AB + AP Chem junior, AP Lit + AP HG + AP Calc BC + AP Bio senior). Wanted to take AP Physics this year, but they couldn’t fit in Honors Physics last year, and I couldn’t find a summer class.
School type: Private; went to a large public freshman year but transferred
Demographics: White female, household income about 40k
Prospective major: Depending on the school, chem/biomed engineering or neuroscience, minor in a language

- Member of an out-of-school choir (highest-level ensembles; select choir, chamber choir, tour choir, small solo groups, interned at their summer camp for 50 hours) 3 yrs

[Looking for more opportunities, too; basically found out last year that I really love acting]

Work experience: Research internship through a competitive free program summer before senior year (worked in a microbiology lab, received a generous stipend), worked at a tutoring center for 3 months (employer had to cut down on staff)

Athletics: JV field hockey 2 yrs (had to quit to work at the tutoring center mentioned above), school dance team this year
[Hoping to try out a spring sport.]

Volunteering: 50 hrs. at food pantry, 50 hrs interning at summer camp mentioned above, 55+ hrs at local library, peer tutoring at school + a local organization etc. (mostly math tutoring), volunteering at a chiropractor’s office

Awards/honors: AP Scholar with Distinction, NHS, research program (mentioned above), school’s highest honor roll every semester, school departmental honors, All-State Chorus 3 yrs, Science Olympiad state medalist, Congressional Youth Conference, Live Poets Society of NJ Topical Winner, placed in national French competition, etc.

Recommendations: My counselor and I are really close; that rec should be really good. Same goes for my two teacher recs (math teacher I’ve had for 3 years and AP Bio teacher)

Essays: I’m a pretty good writer. They’re sincere, convey my personality/interests, some supplements ended up quirkier than others. Show that I value and thrive in the whole smaller school atmosphere.

What’s your home state? W&M and UVA are notoriously hard to get into OOS. You have really good stats and should get into a bunch of the schools you listed!
Penn, Princeton, Cornell, Vandy, Rice, Hopkins, and WUSTL are low/mid reaches (they’re reaches for everyone of course).
Emory and Richmond are matches
UVA and William and Mary are low reaches if you’re OOS and matches if you’re in state.
UMD honors is a solid saftey
You should easily get into Lafayette and Franklin & Marshall
I don’t know enough about the other LAC’s other than they’re really hard to get into.

Thank you! I’m an out-of-stater, unfortunately. xP

Well you have a lot of EC’s and you seem mega involved in them as well so that’s good! I think you’ll be fine with William and Mary and UVA but it’s just hard to tell! Best of luck to you!

Thanks again.
Bumpbumpbump…

So many threads. o__o Bumpbumpbump

wait so you’re a senior and you’re taking the SAT in january again?

Yeah, I’ve looked up a lot of threads and as far as my counselor and I know, it’s okay to do…

ok good to know. I will chance you as of right now (with the 2180). I kinda don’t know some of your schools, so I will only chance for the ones that I have some sort of familiarity.
Harvey Mudd, Princeton, Penn: reaches (for everyone, specially the first two)
Pomona, Swarthmore, Rice, Vanderbilt, WUSTL: low reaches (Pomona might be reach because I got deferred with the same exact SAT composite and better SAT subjects)
JHU: high match
Then again, every applicant is different, and you cant quantify anyone for schools such as these. Your essays will be the ultimate decider in my opinion because you’re in range in terms of academics. You would probably get in a lot of them because your EC’s are pretty good. Also, it would be great if you could chance me as well.

Thank you for all the input!

Any others?
Also applying to the SEAP summer program if anyone’s heard of it. :P

Buuuuuuuuump

Whoah this got pushed back a lot. Anyone?
