okay, so i'm just wondering if i have a realistic shot at the following. please be honest!

Female from fairly large Ohio school
HS Class of 2010
GPA: 4.6 weighted/ 4.0 unweighted
Rank: 1/~400

APs last year: AP US (5)
APs this year: Chem, French, English Lang, Stats, Psychology, Euro History
APs senior year: Government, Bio, Physics, English lit, Economics, Calc (maybe BC?)

PSAT: 220 sophomore year
...no SAT/ACT tests yet, so i know it's kind of tough to figure out, but just base it off of my PSAT (hopefully a little higher!)

Extras (big ones only...please comment on these especially)
-black belt in karate (7 years martial arts training)
-speech and debate officer (3 year member w/ varsity letter)
-vp of student ambassadors organization at school
-freshmen mentor

-fairly fluent in conversational arabic (7 years of weekly lessons)

My, your application is impressive. It’s making my mouth moist to look at your PSATs. I am particularly impressed by your affinity to Southwest Asia. Assuming that your SATs resemble your sophomore PSATs (which I’m sure they will if you practice a bit), it looks like you’ll have a fair shot at any school you desire. I will say that rank doesn’t mean a whole lot right now, so keep an eye out for your rank throughout junior year.

Bonne chance! Je vous demande poliment que vous y regardez. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/801305-first-rule-college-confidential-you-dont-talk-about-college-confidential.html

It looks like you do…however when you are overconfident, you may be surprised in the end. the valedictorian in my school got rejected from William and mary…she applied to 5 other ivy schools and got rejected from them also…you seem like you have a good shot…but when you write your college essays, make sure you protray yourself as a normal teenager…not a saint.
