Please chance me for: Harvard, stanford, WashU, Rice, Northwestern(HPME) Brown (PLME) , Cornell, Dartmouth

Thanks .

You sound like the standard applicant. Great test scores and GPA still don't mean that you have a great chance at Harvard/Stanford. You'll probably get into Cornell, though.

Stanford and Harvard are huge reaches for anyone. You may not be exceptional enough (especially as an asian premed) to merit accepting you.

And the 6/8 year med programs are all incredibly competitive. Getting into Brown is hard, getting into PLME is significantly harder.

WashU and Rice are really good matches/safeties, though. Your application will be about your extras: recs, essays, and interviews. Work your butt off to make them spectacular.

Look pretty cookie-cutter to me.

I know that my stats look pretty cookie cutter type....
I'll get excellent Recs from my teachers and also by a college professor. I will be doing internship/job next yr. Other than that what more can I do to enhance my resume (apart from praying of course :))

You should apply to a solid in state school for your safety. You never know about apps these days and you're bound to get 10k+/per year in scholarship money/honors programs in case you get rejected by all your tier 1 schools. I would say you're in at Rice but there's no harm in applying to one more school you know =]

Great GPA, great rank, great test scores, average/above average ECs

Harvard - Reach
stanford - Reach
Rice - Match
Northwestern(HPME) - High Match
Brown (PLME) - Reach (gl getting into PLME..)
Cornell - High Match/Reach
Dartmouth - High Match/Reach

gl in college =D

Thanks everyone.
