bumping again

Hmmm… I’m not an admissions officer, so take everything I say with a grain of salt ;). I think your stats are really solid, if a little generic! Did you have any SAT scores?
I know legacy helps a ton in the early round, but it doesn’t seem that you will be capitalizing on that, which is ok if you really love barnard. Those internships look interesting, and publishing work is always good! I’d say you have a fantastic shot at barnard, especially ED, tufts, and northwestern. Tufts does like multicultural things, like language, so highlight that! Ivys are tough, but you seem academically qualified and therefore have just a good of a shot as anyone! Remember to show your passion for something, write awesome possum essays, and you’ll do great! Best of luck!
Chance me back?

WOW. I’m an idiot.

SAT score is 2300.

chances anyone?

your gpas a bit low for yale

yaa…idk if i translated it right…it a 94/95 out of 100

anyone else?

no one wants to chance me? :(

hmm… I think ur ECs are ok. Ur sat score is fantastic and ur GPA is pretty good. Will u have taken 7 APs by the end of junior or senior year? If junior year, that is great. But if senior year, there are several students with more APs that are applying to those schools. All in all, I think u should apply Penn ED due to ur legacy. I think u have a solid shot at that school! Same with Tufts! Good luck!
help me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1162646-not-really-chance-thread-where-should-i-applying.html

My Ec’s are good, just didn’t wana go into detail. Technically, my school only allows 2 AP’s per yr, junior and senior year only, so i had to get special permission for more. i think im either doing barnard ed or no ed at all.

I think you have a VERY HIGH chance into getting into anyone of these schools. Don’t listen to raza68, top tier colleges rather see you have dedicated yourself to a couple of EC, rather than a 100. All you need to do is work on your essay. GOOD LUCK!!

thanks so much

bump…anyone else?

Barnard- Match
UPenn- Low/Mid Reach
Cornell- Mid Reach
Georgetown- Not Sure
Tufts- Match/Low Reach
Northwestern- Low Reach
Yale- High Reach

SAT II scores might help give more insight. Your ECs are definitely very generic and nothing really stands out. Write really good essays to show what you’re passionate about (especially for Yale because top Ivies are so unpredictable). Good luck!
