Chances for Trinity College, Dublin

I’m an American strongly considering applying to Trinity for either law or economics, and I’d like to know my odds.

I have a gpa of 4.0, I haven’t yet received my AP test scores back but I predict a definite 5 in history and a 4-5 in English Language and Composition, and my Sat score was 1390 (750 in Reading and 640 in Math). I’ll be taking the Sat again in a few months and anticipate achieving a score around 1430-1450.

The application requires an essay, but I’m fairly confident in my ability to write.

Given all this, how likely is it that I will be accepted?

Good

I would take the SAT Subject tests in American History AND World History, plus a foreign language.
If economics, you’ll need calculus (BC preferably, AB minimally).

Oh wait, I just saw the subjects you listed. I still say “good” for econ.
Law (like medicine, though it’s a bit less competitive) is special and thus may be more competitive. Why an LLB from TCD, though? Do you have permission to work outside the US?
