i'm a korean high school junior and i want to ED to tufts, but also thinking about the other colleges i listed.

GPA: currently around 4.37-4.4, idk what that translates into unweighted (or weighted? i never really understood how this works lol)

SAT:
math - 770
writing - 760
crit. reading - 650 :/
so 2180 :l

i plan on taking it again either june or october, hopefully to at least 2250

i'm gonna need financial aid too, if that affects anything..

i wanna major in biology

what are my chances? thanks guys!

p.s. i just joined the forums and accidentally posted this thread in another section.. sorry guys haha

and my high school ranking is currently 8 out of about 350 or so

i think NYU and Northwestern are matches.

As for BC and Tufts you would need to get your CR scores up.

yeah, i’ll get that up to around 700 hopefully.

my sister goes to BC if that means anything too haha.

dang… tufts is my first choice… i went to an information sesh/campus tour to tufts and they said that if one plans to major in the math/sciences area, they’ll be a little more leniant towards the CR score… but yeah i’ll still get that up

thanks man!

You sound great!! I would say your chances are very strong. Of course, it can’t hurt to work on your SATs. But wow.

^ chances great for all of them? or just tufts ED? but thanks for the input!

of course you could improve your cr scores, but i feel you have an excellent chance at tufts. My sister goes and her g.p.a, course load, ec’s, and sats were all less impressive so i think you have a good chance.

thanks for the input! that really means a lot to me  question, did your sister ED? and do you know if i’ll have a better shot at getting in tufts if i do ED?
