Stats: 3.5 GPA yes it is low but for most of mu high school years I went to a rigorous private school That boosted GPA very little by taking AP courses
I will be a senior this fall I have taken the sat once and got a 1840 and on the act I got a 30 I will retake the act this September
I am an African American female
I have 400+ community service hours at various organizations and 200+ school service hours

I am thinking I will apply single choice Early Action to Tulane (if someone could comment of if this would actually help me it would be very appreciated) and Early Action to Miami if I hear back in time from Tulane if not then Regular Decision u of Miami and BU

I need financial aid as well please chance me

The AP tests I have taken two during my sophomore year(which is something that only a few people each year did) and 3 during my junior year (also at my old school we could only take 6 classes total

AP European History: 4
AP world history: 3 ( I only studied for a week lol because I had studied so much for euro)
AP HISTORY: 5
AP government: 4
AP ENGLISH: 3 ( I think the 3 might have partially Bern because I was super late to the test and almost missed it but its cool the important part was that I learned a lot during the class

Well I am attending U Miami this fall and had an ACT of 28, 4.0 GPA (4.48 weighted), and I can’t remember my SAT score but it was probably 100 lower than yours. I received a $20,000 scholarship as well. You will probably get the same thing as me at U Miami. Your AP grades will not help or hurt your chances of admission, they will only give you credit for classes once you choose a school.

can u comment on my chances of getting into the university of miami?
