I'm new to CC so but I decided to come on and see if it was worth it to apply to Tulane. Here are some stats of mine:
Male, Hispanic, from Connecticut, First generation to attend college
GPA is 3.7 UW
Rigorous Schedule at a public high school w/ AP's and honors
ACT(here's where I might have some trouble) Composite:28 Math:28 Reading:33 English: 24 Science: 27
EC's(just some of them don't want to write a laundry list) - President of Model Congress, Historian of NHS, Vice Pres of Student Council, President of Physics Club, First Chair Flautist, and Swimmer and Tennis Player

Also I will be taking the ACT’s again in October(I’m not sure if they’ll make it before the deadline), and hopefully be able to bring that score a little higher

@MCGavel123 - Of course a higher ACT will help, but I think you have a decent chance as is. Not a sure thing, but decent. EC’s seem quite good. Tulane is holding 2 receptions in CT soon. If you haven’t signed up to go to one of these, you definitely should.

Stamford Sunday, October 05 5:00 PM Stamford Marriott
Hartford Monday, October 06 7:00 PM Hartford Marriott Farmington

Show interest and write a killer “Why Tulane” essay and, I think, you have a shot. Good luck!
