Chances for Tulane?

I am extremely interested in applying for the architecture program at Tulane, but I'm concerned about my record. What are my chances if I apply for Early Action?

High School:
Type: Public
Students: 1200+
State: Mississippi

Unweighted GPA: 3.90
Weighted GPA: ?
Class Rank: ~5/300+

ACT Composite: 29
English: 31
Math: 31
Reading: 29
Science: 25 (GRR...)

Never took the SAT, but it isn't required.

Senior Courses:
AP U.S. Government
AP English Language
AP Calculus AB
AP Human Geography
Honors Micro- and Macroeconomics (Both are 1 semester Courses)
Banking/Finance

Past Courses: 3 AP, 8 Honors

Extracurriculars:
National Honor Society (30+ hours of community service)
FEC (Basically helping with the "special" children)
National Technical Honor Society
Tutoring (30 hours per semester)
Vice President of student government
Work as a teller at a local credit union

Others:
AP Scholar
Boys State
Various community service activities outside NHS (10+ hours)
Great recommendations.

I'm most concerned about my low-ish ACT score and my lack of extracurriculars. Chances?

Your ACT score is by no means low. I know Tulane cares A LOT about a student’s interest (mostly because it has a low, low yield rate). So, if you really want to go, just show a lot of interest.

I had a GPA that was a lot lower than yours, and my ACT was the same score (except my 25 was in Reading). Hope that boosts your hopes a little.

Well that is a bit of help, since Tulane is my first choice school and I am very interested in attending. So thank you!

Would anyone like to comment on my chances of getting in? Also, I would like some help in finding a college that is a good match for me, if that’s all right. Anyone have suggestions, preferably colleges in the Southeastern U.S.?

Shameless bump…
