Chances for U of I

I'm applying to the Engineering school at U of I..

ACT 1, ACT 2

Composite: 28, 29
Math: 33, 31
English: 23, 28
Science: 27, 33
Reading: 28, 26

Unweighted GPA is 3.8 (All honors/AP Classes since Freshmen year)

I've been in band for 7 years (Received many honors), played volleyball for 4 (captain 1 year), mathletes for 4 years, youth and gov for 1 year, some other little stuff here and there..

I do live in Illinois, so i hear that's a bonus since my tax dollars and my parent's tax dollars go to the darn college.

I've heard multiple stories of people getting into the program with a lower act score and gpa than I have, and that the 32-35 composite score is bs.

I'm Caucasian too, so that's a negative, but I'm Italian and Greek.

31-34 for admits, unless it changed a lot in the last year

In fact, 25% of admits have a score of 31 or below. Don’t know about GPA.
