Chances for UBC?

Hello all,

I’m currently a Canadian citizen living abroad in Bangkok, Thailand attending an International School. I have just finished my 1st semester of my senior year and going into my second soon. Our school’s main curriculum is IB and an American High School system. I’ve already applied, i just need some feedback…

So, what are roughly my chances to get in?

By the way, I take 4 IB Classes and 3 non IB. 3 are higher level and one is standard. I am applying for the UBC arts faculty (economics).

my SAT Scores- 1980
700 CR
660 Math
620 Writing

SAT 2- Literature - 630
SAT 2- Math Level 2- 620

GPA Average- 3.6
GPA previous 2 semesters- 3.9 and 3.87

Extracurriculars-
Varsity Basketball
Model United Nations
Honor Choir
Host of school radio
Habitat for humanity
Tri-M music society

Also, if anyone has chances on queen’s, mcgill, uofT as well, that’d be helpful (economics for all).

Thanks!

I think you have a great chance! Good luck, I applied too!

You should be good. Which faculty did you apply to? Which international school do you go to? RIS, NIST? I went to Surabaya International School. We used to play a couple of International Schools out of Bangkok in SEASAC. Ended up going to UBC, it was awesome to say the least. :)
