Applying for accounting
Chances? :/

Major please… UBC is a school where, yes, ECs matter, but what you need to get will vary from a major to another, as will be the case with just about Canadian school.

Accounting&maybe finance

UBC Sauder: Match (at 1900)

Finance is the most competitive major at UBC.

match is…? (sorry)

I might have mixed up chances for an average major at UBC and UBC Sauder… what I gave you was for the “average” UBC major, and UBC Sauder (under whose jurisdiction finance is) is the most selective unit.

I’m willing to give you another replacement chance but only if you tell us what country are you from.

Catria, if I’m a Canadian Citizen, but an American resident will my chances me decreased, increased, or unaffected.

@Justin It does change the tuition picture. UBC aims to increase the # of internationals while they say that there has been no increase in Canadian residents’ enrollment so my guess is either unchanged or increased.

However, what I do know is that 11th grade average and 12th grade average hold the greatest weight. But match/high match at 1900; the SAT doesn’t hold as much weight in UBC decisions as 11th grade average.
