Hi I’m a junior in high school right now and I would like to know my chances for any uc or good cal state.
Freshman year- 4.05 w
Sophomore-I got a 4.0 w first semester and a 3.8 w second semester 3.2 uw for the year (really screwed up second semester :(. ) took all honors other than French 2/Asb
Junior- planning on getting 4.3, 4.1 at the least, 3.3-3.4 uw. taking 3 aps, French 3 and Asb and went into college prep math instead of honors
Senior year- 2 possibly 3 aps
Involved in varsity waterpolo/swim all years
Link crew and key club all years
Tennis one year
Nhs, csf
National scholar athlete
Volunteers at animal shelter
Btw I’m half Pacific Islander if that helps
Comes from middle class family
I know this is highly inaccurate since I haven’t taken sat but let’s pretend I got a 1600-1800
I know my uw gpa is very low, around 3.3, but overall, honestly what should I work on and what are my chances?
No chances can be determined until you finish your Junior year with a CSU/UC GPA calculated and definite SAT/ACT scores in hand.
Keep working on getting good grades, get involved in your EC’s and look for leadership opportunities and study hard for the SAT/ACT.
At the end of Junior year, come back with all your stats and repost for your chances. Also start looking to an intended major you would like to pursue in college.
Stay on your current track and there will be many colleges open to you Higher SAT/GPA will open more doors. Do your best and check back when you have more concrete stats
