Finishing up my junior year in public southern california high school(Ventura county). Here are my stats: 3.50 uc gpa, 27 act score,600 us history sat,and 650 math ll sat, 1 club(kiwins) for two years, job at restuarant 25 hours/week, 1 year of academic sections editor in yearbook,1 year of business manager in yearbook, and 200 hours of volunteer from local library and 120 hours from kiwin’s club. Alrigt essays. I know my chances are slim due to my gpa,but I want to know if I have at least a little bit of chance of gettin in,thanks!

The gpa is a little low, but I think you still have a decent chance of getting in. But make sure you have a backup plan, just in case.

Yeah,I’m applying to all the uc’s and both cal poly’s, csulb, csun, csu fullterton,I’m bound to get in somewhere.

With your stats, you’ll almost certainly get into all of those csu’s, including both cal poly’s.
As far as UC’s go, you’ll probably get into most of them. Maybe not ucla or berkeley, but you have a decent shot at Davis and San Diego, and a very strong chance at the rest.

oh yeah, this is somewhat important, but I will be applying to some form of biology.

i believe bio is impacted at ucsd (where I currently go), but I’m not sure about davis or the other uc’s

Bio is pretty much impacted at all the campuses,so maybe it would be better if I applied undecided?

idk if this helps, but i had around the same stats as you, except my act and subject test scores were a little higher & i had a lot of extracurrics.
i applied to the top 6 ucs, cal poly SLO, and uiuc and got into uc davis, sb, and illinois.
cal states are probably safety schools for you. i think you have a pretty good chance at the mid-tier UCs and you’ll probably get into SLO since your major isn’t engineering.
good luck :]
