I’m applying in a few months for fall 2018. I’m going to submit as SOON as I can. What are my chances on a scholarship? Which one??? My test scores are a little low - what should I have? I’m thinking about taking it again.
UWGPA - 4.0
WGPA - 5.0
SAT 1290
60 dual enrollment credits
Will graduate high school with my AA
400 volunteer hours
Not too many extras - art and psychology clubs, LOTS of volunteering
Ucf averages are 1340 sat, 28 act. The higher your scores the better. Ucf super scores sat so i would definitely take it at least one more time…it can’t hurt you. The sooner you apply, the better. You will get scholarship info a few weeks after acceptance. Good luck!
I’m an incoming UCF freshman this fall. We have pretty similar stats!
Same GPA
SAT 1280 (didn’t submit this score to UCF though)
ACT 29
61 DE credits & graduating with AA this spring
250 volunteer hours
If it helps, I got the Pegasus Gold scholarship ($14,000 over 8 semesters) with these stats, so I’d say you could have a good chance at this award too. I’m no expert though, so like ufmom said, it definitely won’t hurt to take the test again and try to improve your scores!
