Chances for UChicago, WashU in St. Louis, Emory

Hey guys, just want to get a better idea of what i can expect in the whole admissions process.

GPA: 3.5 (At a very rigorous, competitive school)
ACT: 31 (Will be taking again)
AP's: German-5, Euro History-4, Biology-5, Calculus-4, English-5
Clubs: Creative Writing Club, Quiz Bowl, Business Club, Tutoring Club, Newspaper

EC's: Little Kickers Soccer coach for Think Detroit PAL
USSF Soccer Referee

Soccer takes up most of my time. I know that normally I would not be admitted to these schools, but I am being recruited to play soccer at all three. I would be a player that would make a big impact as a freshman, since I could play at the D1 level but I prefer the good balance of academics and athletics that these schools offer. So what do you all think? Can I get into these schools with the above stats if I'm playing soccer?

Without the soccer, you would likely be a bit below target for these schools. There is a special sub-forum for recruited athletes that may be able to give you more specific insight as to the academic “allowances” at these schools for athletes.

Your ACT is in Emory’s 25th - 75th percentile. (30 - 33)
Your ACT is in University of Chicago’s 25th - 75th percentile. (30 - 34)
Your ACT is not in WUSTL’s 25th - 75th percentile. (32 - 34)

I’d imagine if you’re a blue chip recruit at all 3 universities you shouldn’t have a problem getting into any of them even if your ACT or GPA doesn’t improve by the time you apply.

thanks for the replies. Anyone else? do you think I have a chance? Haven’t been able to find anything on athletic recruits at chicago.
