<p>Hey, I'm a junior at Mission San Jose HS in Fremont, CA.</p>
<p>I never really took school seriously because it was always really easy, which kind of came up and bit me in the butt during high school. My attitude was never really that spectacular, and it definitely caught up with me as per my GPA.</p>

<p>Basically, I have like a 3.0 GPA that comes out to like 3.66-3.8 weighted. </p>
<p>My SATs are</p>
<p>end of soph year: 2200
PSAT: 227
SAT2 Lit 750
SAT2 Bio 760</p>
<p>And as I've just taken the SAT2 Math and SAT2 USH I think safe projections are above 700 for both.</p>

300 Service learning hours as a science camp counselor 3 times
Debate captain</p>
<p>I'll only be really disappointed if I don't get into a good state college like SFS or SLO. I'm just wondering if it would be unrealistic to call UCI/D/SB within reach.</p>
<p>What do you guys think my reach schools are? Part of me wants to go to a school with an established (Div 1) sports program- do you think it would be out of the question for me to apply to schools like Gonzaga, UMich, USC, or Ohio State?</p>

<p>anyway, ur u/w gpa is danger zone, but you have a good SAT/SATII, so dont give up hope. work hard on essay and apply to irvine if you can. u never know, really</p>
<p>oh and keep in mind people that they don't offer ap english lang at his school and only let seniors take ap english literature during senior year. just thought that might matter some.</p>
