<p>FALL 2011 TRANSFER
California resident @ CCC</p>

<p>Cal <3<3: Media Studies, Peace and Conflicts (alternate)
UCLA <3: Global Studies, Sociology (alternate)</p>

<p>Currently @ 3.5 gpa
Working towards a 3.76 at most by the end of Fall
Honors Program (*Will be TAP certified)
ECs: work 15-20/week in sales, PTK, some volunteering here and there.. (Kinda worried about this area)</p>

Back in high school (3 years ago), I took 2 french courses and received college credit b/c the teacher taught at the community college I go to now. So my cc transcript includes those grades (C and B). I'm worried about it b/c it's weighing down my GPA and making it hard for me to achieve a 3.7-3.9 range, even when I've been getting mostly A's since I've started college. I went to CC to start fresh, but those high school grades followed me to ruin my game plan... tres, tres mal!</li>
</ul>

<p>What are my CHANCES + ADVISE to make myself look more competitive?!?!
Anyone with similar stats + majors who got accepted?!

<p>Hey! I know you posted this ages ago, but you would mind telling me if I have a good chance of getting accepted to Berkeley? </p>

<p>I’m asking you specifically because my major is also Sociology and I’ve already applied to the UCs last month. </p>

<p>Here are my stats: </p>

<p>3.73 GPA
Will have all Berkeley pre-reqs finished next spring 2012
IGETC certified next spring 2012
More than 60 units completed after spring 2012 semester
Essays are good </p>
