Is there anything I lack?
Chances for UCLA/UC Berkley?

UCLA: Safe match
Berkely: Safe match

you're in both no worries

I'm finishing sophomore year right now, those are just my goals.
Well, my reachable goals.
I'm six months away from Eagle Scout, almost certain for Speech and Debate, and I'm filming a feature length film with my friend next summer.
But how many B's is the limit for UC Berkley and UCLA in my junior year?
Thanks in advance and thanks to wizard and nader.

just dont get any...Bs that is

What would be the limit during my junior year?

You should be into both with ease.

You might also check w/your schools GC---to see if you are eligible for ELC-Eligible in the Local Context--That can help. Your stats are "matches"--but no guarantee--as this year Cal had over 5000 applicants with perfect SATs, and 2/3 of the applicants with perfect 4.0 UW GPAs were not accepted...so...be sure to apply to both UCB and UCLA, and one or two more UCs as "safeties". You have worked hard-you deserve to be accepted to UCB & UCLA--Good Luck!

ELC does not help you get in. A higher % of ELC candidates get in because they are top 4% and therefore on the whole CA's best students.

Well...there is no really limit of how many B's you can get in junior year, just try to keep it 3.8 and above and you'll be fine. My friend junior year received 4 A's 1 B and a C and 5 A's and a B in junior year and he got into UCSD with a 3.9 uc gpa. Also, UC admissions are always random, but top UCs such as Berkely and UCLA are more number based.

I can still manage 1 B per semester and get into UCLA and UCB ?!
That seems pretty high.
I thought you needed 4.0 Junior Year.
Thoughts, anyone?

Bump! Even though I despise it.

You are in. I am about 98.784757% sure.

No. You don't need straight A's. if you maintain a consistent 3.8 GPA throughout your junior year then you'll be fine. You will be WAY above the average GPA for UCLA and UC Berkely
UCLA Average GPA: 4.1
UC Berkely Average GPA: 4.16
